This Privacy Policy explains how Lucky Kettle Studios LLC ("Lucky Kettle Studios," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites and applications, including NoteKeep (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We aim to collect only what we need to provide and improve the Services.

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details so you can sign in and sync your data. Authentication is handled through Google Firebase Authentication.
• Your content. Notes, checklists, and other content you create in NoteKeep are stored and synced using Google Cloud Firestore so they are available across your devices. We do not read or use the contents of your notes for advertising.
• Diagnostic and usage data. We may collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and basic usage events to keep the app stable and improve it.
• Advertising identifiers. For users on the free tier, we display ads through Google AdMob, which may access advertising identifiers and similar device information as described below.

How we use information

• To provide core functionality such as sign-in, storage, and cloud sync;
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
• To process and manage optional PRO subscriptions;
• To display advertising to free-tier users;
• To respond to your support requests and communicate about the Services;
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to deliver the Services. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and related services) — account and content storage, sync, and diagnostics.
• Google AdMob — advertising shown to free-tier users.
• Apple App Store and Google Play — purchase and subscription processing. We do not collect or store your payment card details; these are handled by the respective app store.

Advertising and your choices

Free-tier users of NoteKeep may see banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use advertising identifiers to deliver and measure ads. On iOS, you can control ad tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency and your device privacy settings. On Android, you can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings. Subscribing to PRO removes ads.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above to operate the Services, or when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer. Your private notes are never shared with advertisers.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app: in NoteKeep, open the Account tab and tap Delete Account at the bottom of the page. Once your account is deleted, your data is removed from our active systems, subject to any limited retention required for legal or operational reasons. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and the security infrastructure provided by Google Firebase, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to any issues.

Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

International users

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer and processing.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@luckykettlestudios.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
